"Background Static" explores a contemporary phenomenon: the mainstream press, once the fourth estate, has become a sounding board for dominant narratives.
Under the guise of informing, it homogenizes. Under the pretext of deciphering, it lulls us to sleep. Background noise replaces the signal.
This track poses the question: how can we distinguish information from propaganda when both use the same channels, the same codes, the same voices?
